You will get more tips with credit cards. You know that if you get cash tips you are still required to report them.
The customer will do whatever they want to do. They already have it planned If they will tip cash or card even if you are a great server or not. Just always be a step ahead of them.
Be careful. Doing this will violate the terms of the restaurant's merchant agreement for credit card processing. If they find out you could lose your job.
I would feel embarrassed to be begging for money considering I'm already being paid by my employer for the job I do.
