How to get traffic to my website?

like every buy&sell website, it'll take some time to get people to trust your website.

as it's a shopping website, you should make sure to outline the rules for buying & selling on your website. there should be clear procedures for handling the disputes, returning of the product...etc, which will secure the interest of your costumers.

also, the "order received" section of the website under the "checkout" tab is displaying " thank you. your order has been received" despite the fact that I didn't buy anything.

I suppose you haven't done any social media marketing for your websites. make sure to create an FB page for your business, pinterest, foursquare, delicious. and then integrate their links in the homepage of your website. spread the word through your social networking accounts and your friends.

you can also try to find customers through yahoo answers where people might ask questions about buying or selling computers.

good luck.

in the U.S. a hardware store is clearly a place to but nuts, bolts & tools, not computer hardware. Jogging Trousers???

The home page is confusing, not clear enough if it is actually a store or not.

Seems somehow like too many items on the main menu bar, Track your order might not be a top menu priority for one, perhaps the absence of icons makes it seem more complicated.

Adding lots of articles might help the overall site search ranking, if you had a south yorkshire store address you could get better local search ranking and could create a Google places page.

Sorry I can't see it quite being worth driving traffic to at this point. Mixing fashion and computers will hurt ranking and sales conversion pick one identity and strengthen it.

Adsense ads can leak customers and may indicate a lack of commitment to sales.

I agree with the other answer about picking one specialty. You can't sell multiple niches unless you have a bigger variety.

About your website though, you can't just assume you aren't getting traffic because of the site itself.

You need to use google analytics as a marketing tool to make an informed judgement.

For example, if a high percentage of your views are people who are returning then the website isn't the issue because people who use it come back, all you need is more people to see it.

But if it's constant new views, meaning noone returns, then that means the website or your service may be the issue and needs to be rethinked.

Often times people don't use a service because they think noone else uses it or haven't heard of it or maybe the website doesn't look legit. People subconsciously don't buy from places they don't trust and when they know other people use it or it looks legit that it's safe.

it's called social proof.

Optimize your INFO

There are so many people that don’t do this. And it is so plain obvious. If people like your videos, they will want to learn more about you, maybe become your friend or subscriber and regularly follow you.

So make sure that you add your info to the channel. And if you don’t know what to write… try some of these ideas:

Who are you?

What is the channel about?

How long have you been doing what you do?

What else gives you credibility to create videos / give advice?

Where do you live, how old are you?

URL to your website

In today's world traffic generating to a site is very difficult it requires lots of efforts and hard work but by doing optimization of your site it can be possible to have lots of traffic to the site you have to do on page as well as off page optimization, in on page optimization you have to meta tag optimization, content analysis, alt attribute tags, and so on and in off page optimization you have to get more and more back links to you site for which you can do directory submission, blog commenting, PR, social book marking, ETC.

For ideal SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION outcomes My partner and i highly recommend employing Google Search Bot: http://is.gd/gsbsoftware Utilizing this software I've got placed my internet site to very first page of Google on a quite high competing key word.

Why you are not using your Facebook to drive traffic? Get some info on it start advertise it. Get yourself a Facebook Page to do the job for you.
