First off, tell your friends & relatives .. they are likley to be the main ones interested anyway .. to 'make more friends' just use Facebook etc. ...
Next, if you are SERIOUS you have to update the blog almost every day .. some-one that 'visits' twice and finds 'no new content' is likley not to bother visiting a 3rd time ...
Once you get a 'reasonable' amount of content you will need an 'index' page -
If your 'blog' has some sort of consistent 'theme' it might be easier to attract an audience
Finally 'why do you want an audience ?' .. if your ultimate goal is to SELL something you need to think about what type of content will 'attract' the sort of visitor who will become a CUSTOMER (there's no point in 'blogging' for motor-heads like Clarkson and then expect to sell make-up & perfume ..)
The very first advice I will give to you is to reduce your labels and make them as short as tags (ex: SEO, Facebook, Blogging Tips and so forth). They are not meant for SEO. They are meant to be like tags to easily help visitors or search robots find contents easily.
Now, to get traffic to your blog, you'd need to create a Facebook fan page. A lot of people have succeeded in getting high traffic using fan pages. Using top level social networks like Twitter, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest, will also help you boost traffic. Just create an account and follow or add friends. Contact them and share ideas with links. Please do not spam or invade more into people's privacy.
Another good way to get popularity and high ranking is by bookmarking your domain. Socialposter.com can help you with this. Then, put up articles and press releases if you have a good writing skill. Blog commenting and guest blogging are also good ways that convert a lot. How do I get my blogs noticed? I have my own blogger page with a few posts on it. I am not sure if I am working my blog properly as I am new to the whole thing. Once I finish writing the post I save it and then publish, I also put loads of labels on the posts. Can you give me any tips please?
