Determine your maximum amount you'll pay, then wait until the last few seconds to bid (factor in the bid confirmation and your internet connection speed, too). I usually wait until the last 10 seconds or so. Never fails.

Bid your maximum at the last 6 seconds

Even if the bidding is up to ￡50 and the item is worth ￡100- then bid ￡80 or ￡90 in the last few moments and unless someone comes in at ￡90.01 you will win

Also if noone comes bidding after the ￡50 you will win it for ￡51.00 (unless the ￡50 bidder also put in a bid of between ￡52 -91)

You will never know how much someone has bid their maximum , that is why you need to do your max at the last few moments

If you lose it is because someone was willing to pay more for it than you

That's what I do. Stalk the auction til the last 30 seconds or so, then place your max bid.

Bid an amount you think no one else would come close to bidding. Odds are you'll get it (though it might be expensive).

OK, so there is something on ebay i REALLY need but someone is bidding on its getting to be to much. how do i win the bid? do i wait to the last Second to place my max bid??
