How would you sell these on ebay.?

Congratulations on your purchase!

The best way I would sell them on Ebay would be in packs... with an auction format and having a Buy it Now option.

The only reason I would do it this way, is simply because you have 1,400 of them and selling them individually would be a logistical nightmare.

And for pricing... do a few searches on Ebay to see what "others" are selling for in packs... and make yours just slightly cheaper, and you will get the sales instead of them.

One final tactic is to find someone that has a high number of bidders on similar cards... and go in and contact all their bidders to tell them about your listing, why your listing is better, and cheaper ;-)

Have fun making money!!

Sorry, I would forget the Ebay idea, too much competition and adding the cost of postage will prob make the cards uncompetitive.

The good thing is there are a lot of "events" around at this time of year where you can get a table for £5 and hopefully sell them. Christmas Fairs at schools, churches, village halls etc. Some will even let you do it for a straight percentage of takings!

You have 2 basic choices. Sell them in small lots (more work) and make more profit each. Or sell them off in bulk for wholesale (less work) and make less profit each as the other person needs to resell them.

If you have the time on your hands sell them say 10 at a time in buy it now lots. If you have little free time then I would say auction off large lots, make it worth it to a small store owner buy selling a few hundred or so each and make it a auction starting low.

As the 99p shop sell packs of good cards in every town I think you might have bought a duck as the postage will be more than the value. Sorry!

Sell them individually, you will get more for each card if you do that.

Very cheaply - ebay is flooded with Christmas cards.

Job lots of 100 starting at 99p for each lot of 100 if you want to get any interest at all.

things like that are a dim a dozen really sell them cheap if you want rid

I have bought a joblot of top quality Christmas greeting cards. mostly hallmark.

my question is how would you sell these on ebay. in packs, individually, auction, buy it now.

The RRP ranges from £2.99 - £9.99 and i have 1400 of them

all advice would be greatly appreciated
