I have made hundreds in a matter of mere hours. Over and done with.
I've sold a lot of things, both small and large, including furniture, on Craigslist.
Yes, you have to be careful and you quickly learn to 'weed-out" the scammers and people who aren't truly interested. But you also don't have the hassle of mailing things.
Insist on cash only, meet in a public place, and specify "as-is" and/or "no refunds".
Somewhere on ebay it must say what the fees are. If you just want to get rid of stuff and don't care about the money, you can donate it.
Sell stuff you know you'll make money on. If its old and useless just throw it out save yourself the time and hassel
I'd like to sell some clothes, old VHS's, stuffed animals/toys, etc. but eBay charges you a listing fee and I heard Craigslist isn't the safest. I need a safe, easy-to-use, and hopefully free or at least cheap (in fact, I actually don't know what eBay charges you) website to sell stuff like this that I can send through the mail if someone decides to buy it.
