You can find a lot of information about SEO just by searching for it on Google. But I'm not sure how good that information is going to be. You can also get books or guides to learn search engine optimization too. I found this site that has more info on it and there is a SEO section in the menu.

SEO does take trial and error to get it right. The best thing you can do is search for a keyword for your website using a keyword research tool. Then have great content and place this keyword in your content so users can be directed to your page. However, it all depends on your search engine ranking, whether a lot or a little traffic is sent to you.
