These are excellent questions. Basically, it sounds like you're asking about two different things:
1) How many people on your mailing list
2) How many people coming to your site
Based on that assumption, here's my input.
First, realize that it does depend on your niche. The more narrow your target the lower the numbers will be. However, I'll give you a few examples.
I've successfully helped to build up a list for an accounting school to 40,000 emails. For accountants, tax preparers and bookkeepers, etc. that's an above average list.
On the other hand, I've also built up a list for magicians that is about 1,500 which is small to medium sized. Whereas another magic mailing list I'm aware of is over 30,000 emails which is pretty large for that market.
The other thing to consider is that this stuff snowballs. The more people you have on your list, the more traffic you can direct to your site. The more traffic you have, the more people you can get to sign up . . . as you start growing, the growth becomes exponential.
As for traffic, a goal of 100 uniques per day is very realistic, just not overnight. It takes time to build your list and your traffic.
I just started up a new blog two weeks ago. It's currently averaging around 10 or so uniques per day. As I continue to promote and direct traffic there, it will grow (cross your fingers) over time.

Hi, I am currently making my goals, and I'm wondering, to get an idea, what is considered a big list, an average list, and a small list (email)? What would be realistic if I work hard in a year for me?
Also how many visitors a day would be realistic for me? I have been studying Internet marketing for the past around 6 months, only getting a chance to start now. So I have a good idea of how to get traffic. I will be using: YouTube, forums, and social networks to get traffic, everyday. Would maybe 100 unique visitors a day be realistic? Again I don't have a big notion on this.
