Since the uploader is knowingly participating in a scam, he will probably not complain either since to do so would be admission of guilt.
The other poster that said your friend will never get paid is probably right.
He will never get a check.
He may see himself accumulating money, but since he may be involved in something illegal, he will never receive any funds.
Know that some sites require that you make $100 before they send you a check.
It can easily take a year of working full time (40 hours a week) to accumulate this.
By that time, the scam will be closed.

Do not fall for these online scams. They are all the same.
This is normal in the internet. There is no right and wrong in this kind of scenario. The only thing that makes it wrong here is the uploader, is making wrong information, and the downloader is looking for some illegal files. Basically, both are wrong. However, both are also looking for what they think are right. Meaning, either way, they both misinterpret themselves.
But anyway, since this is internet and publicly reached. If this is the case for the downloader, just find another alternative way to get what he wants, either getting it legally, or looking for another source to get it illegally. And at the same time, the uploader can find another victim. Touche!
You will not find them at your house. You will not find them with a mouse.
You will not find one here or there. You will not find one anywhere.
I have one question. It's about earning money online. There is a friend of mine he makes a lot of money online. I asked him how you did, and he says he works for some site that offers cpa (cost per action or so). There you upload files and everytime someone downloads it you get paid. Before you can download a file the downloader (visitor) must complete a survey. That survey is shared between the company and the uploader (my friend). Now I asked him to put more details in. He told me that he promotes cd keys, keygens, game hacks as downloads. I told him that piracy is illegal. Then he said someting like that the files that he promoted aren't real cd keys and hacks, ussualy when the downloader finishes the survey he downloads some random file (no real key), just something else, a PDF book about mountains or whatsoever. Also there is no need to pay anything for the visitor (downloader), so it can't be stealing. I'm just confused when the visitor get the file he will see that the file he wanted isn't really that file, it's something else. My friend says that this is ok because the visitor wanted this (the hacks), hacks are bad, so he got a book about mountains to read and forget about hacks and other cheats.
Is this income bad? Is it forbidden. I'm confused, or my friend just looks to pretend as a good guy. Well everyone needs some money to make.
Thanks for the answer!
