I have sold a lot on ebay over the last 5 years but the last item I sold went for ￡140 and, in total, I was Charged ￡28. I don't think I'll bother from now on.
You cannot blame ebay it's the seller would is to blame ebay is just a site like most sites. if you looking to sell your things then do some research on ebay see if anyone has the same item if so then you need to make your price the same. Put up more then one photo of you're item you need to write a good description on you're item tell the ppl who look at your item if there is any problems
It's all about timing and the right product. Helps to check prices for others similar to yours and beat it. Also I usually add a free item that I don't want with the purchase to make it more attractive. This works really well. Also major sure your pictures are the best they can be and in an attractive setting. People want good things for a bargain :)
theres other places like ebid and a few others much cheaper money to be made, however no bodies on them in comparasion to the numbers that visit ebay, it aint worth it for me to seel anything for less then ￡10 following fee, postage ( it has to be free pnp or people get pissy) and all the lost in the mail items, not alot of money it it much, tbh amazon is worse,
i have a couple of ebay stores selling different things, kinda isnt worth it somedays but my own website gets bugger all traffic
Yes as long as you follow the rules and be smart but never buy from Ebay.
with all these charges, you hardly make any money out of it. but theres no where else to sell. ???
