Being successful in business is not actually that directly related to whether or not you study business. There are lot of successful cases telling us that not those who study business succeed but those who can deal with people well enough. Connection I personally believe is the most important part in making a business success as you can find smart people working for you if you start your own business but the business don't get big if you can't find the right people to do the right things.

So if you really wanna make big business start connecting with people early. People who you think is not relevant to making big business may actually help you a lot in the future. No one knows.

Especially for financing industry and insurance that kind of stuff that is highly human connection related, if you don't get the connections its not gonna work.

Concluding....its not far fetched. Just be confident and trust yourself and go for it.

I belive that any one who want's to have their own business can be successful if you have the drive to make it.

success lies in marketing you can make anything great as long as you can sell it to enough people that enjoy the product enough that they go and spread the word for you, schooling has nothing to do with it

I want to study business and in the future own my own business, but i want to know whether it is possible to have a very successful business in something like finance and insurance or engineering, or is it to far fetched?
