Its a bidding site and is advertise on tv

Maybe avoid the gimmick type sites, they'll cost you some time, maybe not worth any savings that you might get, if any.

EBay and Amazon are as cheap as any website on many products. Use tools/techniques to help increase the chances that you'll save as much money as possible when buying something.

As far as buying/saving on eBay goes:

If you see an item that you want listed in auction format, send the seller a message asking if they will accept $x to end the auction early and sell the item to you. May be telling them that they would not have to wait as long to get their money (they would probably know that, but it still might help). If that does not work, use a sniping service such as Bidball.com to bid for you. It'll bid in the last few seconds, helping you to save money and avoid shill bidding.

If there is a particular item that you are looking for, and especially if it is relatively rare on eBay, use a site like Ebuyersedge.com to set up a saved search for it. You'd get an e-mail whenever a match is listed. Great for "Buy It Now"s priced right. You can use the price, category, exclude Word, etc. filters to narrow down the list of results that you receive in the e-mails.

Try a misspelling search site like Typojoe.com to hopefully find some deals with items that have main keywords misspelled in the title. Other interested buyers might never see them.

Quibids charges you $.60 for every bid you make. You can spend a great deal of money and end up losing the item to another bidder.

It's not the best way to buy something. In fact, the deals you see advertised are just for show. Deals like that rarely happen on these auction sites.

Never trust a site that demands credit card info before you place your 1st bid!

If time magazine recommend that doesn't mean that thing is perfect.

as per scamadviser dot com :

quibids.com Have

Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use.

Notes:-

- This is site is not very popular and has a low page rank

+ This website is deemed to be popular by Alexa with a ranking of 1221 (only plus point)

- This website has been reported as being untrustworthy

- This website/business has been given a low reliability rating by other websites

It is not technically a scam, but it is a ripoff. I would never try quibids, ever.

It's a ripoff.
