It's a scam
NOBODY asks another person to post items on Ebay unless they are selling stolen or counterfeit items and want YOU to lose the money once the victim reports it to Ebay, and possibly the police
OR there are no items - there are pictures of items that you list, collect the money, send a % to this 'company' who claims they will send it once they get paid. But they don't send anything. The buyer reports you to Ebay. Ebay asks you for signed proof of delivery to the buyer's verified address. You won't have this as you never had the item and never shipped it. Ebay refunds the buyer out of your account and you lose the money you sent to this company
You cannot list anything on Ebay that you do not personally own and have in your possession and YOU arrange the shipping to the buyer's verified address. Never let anyone ship for you and DO NOT list anything unless you physically have it and can verify that it is not stolen or counterfeit
If someone says they want you to list the items but they will ship them, it's always a scam

Online work-at-home jobs are scams.
Selling on eBay is in fact a marketable skill nowadays, and many companies seek employees with this skill set. In these legit jobs, you will work on-site at the company entering items on THEIR eBay account. Any job that asks you to enter items on YOUR eBay account is a scam.
I can't see over your shoulder to tell what job offer you are talking about.
An "ebay company" sounds suspicious, people who have been banned for selling counterfeit goods, etc. may be looking for other people to get in trouble selling their ccrap.
Almost every job posting on Craigslist is a scam.
They won't pay you.
