Is this trust able in craiglist?

It's a typical fake money order scam - It will clear but it can take 3-4 weeks to bounce. When it does YOU will owe the bank the full amount of the money order plus bounced check fees and face criminal bank fraud charges. And the scammer has already resold your Kindle for cash

I don't know why people ignore Craigslist's very clear scam warnings

http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams

When you get the money order DO NOT sign for it - that only lets the scammer know where you live. You never give your home address to anyone on Craigslist for any reason - you always meet in the public location of your choice. If you sign for it, they know where you live and will threaten you and your family if you don't send the Kindle. If you refuse delivery it will be returned to them

So you are not threatened, if you do get the money order, wait a day then write back to say that you tried to cash it at your bank but they said it was counterfeit and turned it over to the Fraud Squad for investigation.

This is a classic Craigslist 101 scam. The money order will be fraudulent. Even if you go deposit it at your bank, in a day or two it will bounce back as counterfeit. I can absolutely guarantee that.

I have sold on CL for many years, and if I had saved every one of these responses my disk would be full.

If he's "busy", why does he have time to go buy a money order instead of just using cash? Tell him to keep his $30 and send his "person" with just the $110 (make sure you meet in a bright, populated place) and he can have it. You will either never hear from him again or he will be back with more outrageous demands.

Another clue is that he is willing to pay $110 for a first gen Kindle. If he really does that, send him my way because in this area they are worth $10.

Please be careful, and read the CL forums for information on this type of scam.

Offering to pay more than asking price is a common symptom of offshore counterfeit check scams, play it safe and sell to someone face to face.

Yes,

This trust is able in craiglist.

NO, a SCAMMER

So i put my kindle first generation for sale for $110, so a guy text me and ask he would add $30 if he could do money order. So he can send one person to pick it up for him since he's a "busy" man. So the total money he will send is $140. Is this guy a legit buyer?
