2. consider what type of service and wedding cake range you will be providing

3. consider the market level/type you are aiming at (high end designer, one off original cakes)

4. check names to ensure that no one else is trading under the same or similar name in your area

5. contact your local council for free business advice

6. make a shortlist of the best names you have, then chose the most apt to your intended clients and market pitch.
