There are reports of crime gangs selling hundreds of teen girls into slave prostitution, by first contacting them on Facebook, flattering and tricking them into a meeting that changes their lives in ways they could not imagine, getting them drug addicted and gang banging the dignity out of them breaks their determination to escape.

i'm a teenager and i enjoy blogging on tumblr, being on hobby sites etc. i see the internet as a way to potentially make connections that would not have been available years before; exchanging emails, becoming penpals, etc. but i'm also concerned about safety and privacy. the health class propaganda films are starting to convince me that there's pedophiles afoot! but my dad pointed out to me one time, anyone that really wanted your address would be able to find it one way or another... so i'm not really sure what is/isn't ok to post?? who should i avoid on the internet, and who can i probably trust not to be a pervert?
