The company has been in Administration, so a few delays were inevitable. As I'm told (by a friend in their warehouse) they are processing orders, but on top of everything the recent snow caused a backlog they're working through (as some orders couldn't get out when it snowed).
Ask someone in store if they can sort it out for you. At the very least they can chase it up and get a status update for you.
HMV has recently been saved by a company now buying out their debt, so your order will still be valid. Don't panic, and please don't blame the staff. They've had it rough too.
In the same position. I went into an HMV near me and they said they operate as two different companies (HMV stores + HMV.com) - told me to email hmv@deloitte.co.uk or call deloitte.
Hoping my stuff will turn up tomorrow, it will be two weeks since they said it would be here! They took my money fast enough...
If you go into an HMV store with your order number, I'm sure they can sort you out with your purchase, or offer you some help. I'm sure whether any outstanding deliveries will be delivered.
I too received an e-mail stating my order had been despatched on 14 January. I have spoken to Deloitte this morning and have been advised backlog is being sorted and order should be received this week.
The company has gone into adminitration, and everything has been halted whilst they search for a buyer.
Has the money been taken out of your account?

Looks like they have gone kaput
i am having the same problem so i am glad to have read the advice here
Placed an order with HMV and got an email to say will be delivered in 2-5 days well that was nearly 2 weeks ago. Now the site has been locked down by the administrators and I can't contact anyone. Anyone got any sensible advice?
