Should fast food TV ads never use animals like pets?

Adverts are aimed at the unintelligent so I never watch them.

You are the one with the problem dear. I love animals in commercials. Those squirrels are funny as can be and my little cousin who is 6 always loves animals in commercials. Did you ever hear of a kids petting zoo? Kids love the animals. Why would seeing them on TV freak ever them out? I'm sure kids at petting zoo could eat a big ice cream cone and still pet an animal and it not bother them at all. They would love it. Something is wrong with your thinking my friend.

Don't you think that in the case of milk children should know where it comes from? The same goes for meat

No; because I'm able to block out, naturally, the want to dig further into what is meant for brains like yours to get caught up on.

No, it never bothers me at all. I find them cute.

Geico uses a Gecko as pet, when I'm eating i turn on the channel because it ruins my digestion, but otherwise it can be acceptable, at least for me.

Direct TV uses squirrels, some people with phobia to them I think would never hire their services, but it is a "neutral" commercial, because it doesn't mix our thoughts about feeding with something disgusting like those animals attacking someone on the street, because there is no food on the video.

But what happens when advertising agencies uses cows for example for milky products? They don't bother to ask children if they find it nauseating as i do. I know that some people has this issues from time to time depending on the state of their health, if their liver is fat, and if their mood is normal.

But those times are worth to consider, and use better ideas, proven ones, in order to transmit an idea.

Does it bother to you what those ads do sometimes?
