The biggest issue with your age may be doing business with the ad networks and affiliate sites you would want to earn revenue through, many would require someone 18 or over, you can expect they will at least want tax ID information. Some teens have their parents who have a bank account, etc. sign up on their behalf.
It can take a sustained effort of writing original quality content to get a blog to rank in the search engines, if you looked at the looong term big picture, you could have a valuable property built up by the time you reached 18 and really needed the money.
In general it's best to stick to a narrow range of related topics so the search engines can more easily categorize the site for specific searches, though to a fair extent each individual page is ranked for keywords individually, it's a common practice to target a particular search phrase as the theme for each different page. Perhaps you can 'cover' body building shows around the world to fit in the travel part, touching on the attractions of each city.
Most blogs are half *** efforts that never get decent search ranking, traffic or revenue. You really have to make something exceptional to get into the top 10 results on the first search result page where 90% of the clicks happen.
The most common revenue source for bloggers, Google's Adsense system is easy to setup, it automatically inserts ads that best match the content of each page, some people try to write about subject with higher ad payout. The relatively high $100 min payout can take tens of thousands of visitors to earn, it may be slightly easier to get good search ranking if your site has no advertisements at first.

Aay Adsense "pays the electric bill". There's a better earning potential from affiliate links that you would include in a pre-sell 'review' article.
when i was 12, i made blog about pokemon. it was pretty good visitors. so age doesn't matter. you have to find something that you like, and people will like. if you like to build muscle, than you should write about it. or traveling the world. If that is what you like. how about spongebob, or popular game and etc.\
it will be great. but for first blogging, there'll be not much people who is coming to your blog. I'm not really good at writing so... good luk.

I'm 15 and a very good writer. i am thinking about starting a blog on blogger but i don't know if i should because i don't know if the bog will do well or if it will fail.
