Unfortunately, copyright law doesn't extend to classified ads, so I doubt craigslist will do anything unless they duplicated your ad and changed a few things to discredit you or intentionally prevent sale.
It's not cool, but it's also not illegal. Some people just have a talent for words (you) and some don't.
Sorry.
Checking the links, the second ad is now completely different to yours so they must have changed it. I dont think there is any chance of someone mistaking your ad for the other persons ad.
Unfortunately, you do not have the right nor does this other person have the legal obligation to erase his ad. Try editing yours.
Isn't there a link somewhere that says something like "Report this Listing"? Just report them to eBay.
So today as I was browsing eBay classified because I am going to be listing some puppies soon to go to their future homes I stumbled upon a listing and they seemed to have copied my listing pretty much word for word. Here is my listing and note I have listed this for quite a while and I have never seen the other persons listing until today.http://tampabay.ebayclassifieds.com/animal-services/valrico/akc-male-yorkie-for-stud/?ad=20999457 and here is their listing.http://tampabay.ebayclassifieds.com/animal-services/tampa/yorkie-stud-for-hire-200/?ad=23800619 Now I have already e-mailed them about this asking them to change their wording in their listing and they have not contacted me back. Before like a month ago I had seen someone take two sentences out of my listing but I was fine with that because everything else was different. But this is really irritating me. So you don't accidentally mix up the listings my dog is Moka and the other persons is Brody. What do you think about this?
