We have seen a marked increase in the number of delayed payments (approvals) by Paypal. Every once in a great while we use to get one, now that number has become noticeable for everyone.
Also the delays use to be with 24 hours tops, now we are seeing several days.
Whether this is a move by Paypal to protect itself or, a means of arbitrage is unknown.
btw... paypal is NOT a bank and as such is not subject to banking regulations.
I view the correspondence from the seller very positive and of no great concern.
now ebay itself, i would not trust with anything, including two plug nickels as they are not an honorable company..
Unless you *also* have a credit card linked to your Paypal account, the money pulled from your bank account is not credited to the seller until it has actually cleared your account AND been posted through her Paypal account. This can take 3-5 business days. No biggie, just wait.
Get in the phone with PayPal and demand to know what is going on. It sounds to me like PayPal screwed up. There is an 800 number somewhere in the mess of a site.
Once a bank account is set to paypal you need to verify payment method , right now your payment method is labeled unverified with paypal putting holds on your payments , call paypal customer service or go to paypal website and verify payment method

Basically, my bank account shows a balance that has already had the money taken out.
