google adwords is a little to much for me right now
Here are my tips on how to advertise a websites:
1. Search Engine Optimization. I'm sure you know SEO and an effective way to advertise a website is to improve your site ranking in search engines. As to search engine optimization, you must select right targeted keywords to optimize on-page meta, description, improve your site URL and CSS+DIV. Building backlinks from other sites help your site rank high.
2. Pay Per Click. The advantage of ppc is to bring you more orders. It's just that you need to pay some money first. If your website is selling products or services, PPC is absolutely a good tactic.
3. Social networking. Try to promote your site on social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, etc. Billions of people are active on these sites and they are great sources for traffic. Make friends with people on social sites.
But the content is the first important thing to a website. No matter which way you choose to advertise your site, don't neglect your content. Internet marketing is more than this, and you can learn more online. Hope it works and good luck!
If Google Adwords is to expensive then mostly all other PPC's with the same qaulity are to.
YouTube might do it, set yourself up behind a Camera and start talking and showing details. Like everything else, you must know how to do it to be effective but it's qaulity advertising.
New Content on your site will give you more traffic from Google and others, that's the best way.
Can't write or do that?
