Web Hosting For Free or Paid?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
No, it isn't a lot.

I spend $400 per year on my server which hosts 20 different websites. $200 is the minimum for a good server.

The reason why they are charging you ONLY $70 is because you are sharing space on a server... A cheap server too.

Paid servers = Quality. The higher the quality the more you can expect to pay.

$70 is a lot of money but then again Godaddy are popular and know for a very long time.

My advice is host your website in a recogznized web hosting company that has been on the game for a long time. You can try to search on google for 10 Ten webhosting companies you will get something like Godaddy, hostgator, bluehost, ipage and many others.

Free hosting is not advisable since they can decide to get your website off the server if you violate their terms or exceed their bandwidth. They have so many rules since you ain't paying for a dime.Get a good webhosting company then let your designer design it from there. You can change the log in details after the design is over.

Go with the paid hosting. Seriously if you have a website, ALLWAYS own your own web hosting. Never let someone else host it for you. If you are paying for web hosting from some professional company, they can never legally do anything bad to your website. Where free hosting accounts can add commercials, viruses, etc... There are a lot of good web hosts out there. You can use http://www.webhostingprofessionals.org as a list of good ones.

Why would you pay $70 when you can pay full featured hosting at iClickster.com for less than $2 a month or $25 for the year!

Yes its true that you should get your own hosting rather than use the designers hosting - as you have full access to it.

I don't know I think the best is to pay for something good, $70 is much more than I paid, but is better than free or extremely cheap companies that don't offer what a basic customer needs. I paid $3.95 for a plan on en.zthaepymes.com anyway inmotionhosting.com and bluehost.com are great too.

I use MilliServe (www.milliserve.com) - Guess what. They're completely free!

I've been with them since they started basically. I don't think i've ever noticed much downtime with them. Some of the benefits include:

- 6GB Disk Space

- 100 GB Bandwidth

- Free Website Builder

- Over 75 free website templates

- 2 Free subdomains

- Free AutoScripts installer (installes sites like Wordpress, myBB etc)

- 100% free.

... thanks only a few of the stuff. I'd check out their website if you want the full list. From my experience they've been totally professional and their servers are quick (Always a benefit!)

If you have any questions for them then they have a live chat section at the bottom left of their website. It's on most of the time.

Their address is: http://www.milliserve.com

$70 is a lot of money (in my opinion) if you're running a relatively smaller site. If you're looking for affordable hosting and a reasonable package, I have some free space on my account which I would be willing to sell off... Let me know.

Free webhosting is not reliable so,its better to pay a small amount and get good services.

You can find out various other webhosting services .

however i just talked to people on www.godaddie.com and they told me i should buy my own hosting for $70 basic because if my web designer desapeared i will be in trouble.

what should i do?

$70? its a lot of money

? Thanx
