If you sell the items in small amounts and you do well and you can get the items in bulk (most likely cheaper) then you would be able to make more of a profit.
However, if you are selling in bulk remember that you will need to get all the items sent out and within a short amount of time and you need somewhere to keep the items and someway of getting them all posted out. This will obviously be easier with some items than others.
You may also want to consider becoming a business seller if you're not already.
Assuming you can get the items cheap enough and you know there's a market out there and a profit can be made then go for it.
If you don't already have an item in mind or haven't previously tried to sell the item you wish to sell them do remember there are many sellers on ebay and you may find you have competition. Making a profit through bulk buying and reselling isn't always as easy as it sounds. Try selling a few items and see how well it does (if you haven't already) before buying in bulk.
I have had a lot of success buying condoms in bulk and then selling them on ebay. people dont seem to like being seen purchasing condoms at the store so they prefer to buy them online.
You can buy movies, dvds, bluerays from wholesalers, distributors, and liquidators to sell on ebay.
