Best thing to do with invention ideas is keep them to yourself. Submit them through proper channels because by publishing them before they are patented will guarantee that someone that already knows the proper channels will submit them first. Then you have no legal grounds to claim your invention. But I'm pretty sure something like that exists already.

Are you tired of buttering your toast with a slice of butter on a knife? Do you hate it when the butter falls off your knife blade? With my invention, these concerns will be a thing of the past. My device features an instrument the size, shape, and mechanism of a glue-stick that houses butter. Simply twist the end of the stick to advance the butter and smear it onto your toast! What do you think of my idea? I was thinking of submitting to Lambert & Lambert.
