What you did is actually right, getting into social media sites to spread your business offers, but there's more things you have to do. Getting a page rank is done by SEO. Social Media is a part of it, but there's a lot more you have to do in order to be recognized by Google and give you a page rank.
1. Choose keywords at Google Adwords Planner
2. Create blogs with excellent contents and insert those keywords you think are relevant to your website.
3. Social Media (like Facebook and Twitter)
4. Backlinking
Here's an SEO website which can help know more about it.

Hope this helps.
The majority of people who try to make money on the internet fail, your little ecommerce site is probably fated to only pay your fated bills.
The movie quote "If you build it they will come" does not apply to web sites, some webmasters spend more time on other sites promoting their own than actually doing site development work.
Store sites have a harder time getting serrch ranking due to their lack of substantial text content, having full articles related to the use of your products and longer category introductions would give the search spiders more words to chew on. A more active SEO campaign wold help, but it's going to be a rough ride for such a tiny store.
To better test the waters using a marketplace like Amazon or Ebay would probably get more prospects seeing your goods.
Don't worry about Page Rank, this metric has been somewhat demoted by Google, they only update it about 5 times a year, they went a good part of 2013 without any updates, page rank seems to be mainly an indicator of backlinks and not as useful a metric as search result position for important keywords.
As far as the site, your photos are simply crappy, bigger, more professional looking photos would have a big effect on sales, those using paid advertising to bring in prospects have to be particularly aware of their site's conversion rates, broadly speaking making 1 sale in 50 to 200 visitors is common.
I'm making good profit with penny stock
Check here http://trade-pennystock.checkhere.info
Many new investors are lured to the appeal of a penny stock due to the low price and potential for rapid growth which may be as high as several hundred percent in a few days. Similarly, severe loss can occur and many penny stocks lose all of their value in the long term. Accordingly, the SEC warns that penny stocks are high risk investments and new investors should be aware of the risks involved but you can even make very big money. These risks include limited liquidity, lack of financial reporting, and fraud. A penny stock is a common stock that trades for less than $5 a share. While penny stocks generally are quoted over-the-counter, such as on the OTC Bulletin Board or in the Pink Sheets, they may also trade on securities exchanges, including foreign securities exchanges. In addition, penny stocks include the securities of certain private companies with no active trading market. Although a penny stock is said to be "thinly traded," share volumes traded daily can be in the hundreds of millions for a sub-penny stock. Legitimate information on penny stock companies can be difficult to find and a stock can be easily manipulated.

You might take a look at this article about marketing your small business on a budget. It might give you some ideas to get started...

I have been self employed for about a year now, after being made redundant.
I thought I would be able to get a website, get a facebook and twitter account etc etc, and just sit back and watch the visitors arrive on my site.
This hasn't happened, and more to the point - I have no idea why!
Would someone please be able to let me know what I may be doing wrong? I have no budget (because I havn't sold anything yet!), so they will need to be freebies!
My website address is quillations.com - I have registered with Google, but alas have no pagerank :o(
Thank you in advance,
Gary
