What is the difference between Ebay and Amazon?

eBay is more of a user and Internet seller only site yes eBay has it's ways of making money and deals but it's all through individuals or businesses selling items. Amazon is more focused in-depth on products and you see something being sold but it has all the prices under the item. Such as a Bluetooth keyboard. On eBay you could see 100 of them from different sellers and companies. On amazon 1 logitech Bluetooth keyboard is the item and then you click on it it will show you the amazon price usually being sold or a fulfillment by amazon then you will see a list of the same keyboards that can be classified by lowest to highest price, new, used, seller, and more. Also amazon collects a direct amount of money off each item it's a percentage of the item price listen and the $3.99 s&h cost. So if you have a book being sold for $70 amazon will get $10-$12 and you will get $58-$60. I myself prefer amazon. It limits the number of scams I believe and always is deep I'm customer satisfaction. eBay I see a lot of fake and scam items and believe it is a lot harder to find products and list products as well. Also on amazon when listing you are able to use a stock photo of the item and on eBay it cost $1 to upload a picture. Also if you have an bought an amazon item you are able to trade the item in for at least a 75%-80% trade in value from when you bought it. eBay does not have the trade in option. Also the other thing is eBay is auction style. You bid on items on eBay mostly they do have a buy now but usually the item gets marked up and also you try to be the highest bid at the end of the time limit. On amazon you can buy products and don't worry about if you are or aren't going to get it.

they are two different sites.

Ebay is a site were it allows other people to go on it and sell thing and getting a % of the money the seller gets. Amazon is just where 1 person sells things at a unit price and other people sell things.

I have found that Amazon is better for new items and centers around companies and Ebay is better for used items sold by individuals. I shop both, but I buy much more from ebay. The prices are much better.

they have different URLs, one is ebay.com and the other is amazon.com
