Manufacturer is a subset of a producer. Someone who grows corn is a producer of agricultural products, but is not a manufacturer. Someone that makes fabric is a manufacturer and a producer of fabric.
I must warn, that in an English classroom, there may be specific definitions that do not agree with that. Confirm with your teacher.
A manufacturer manufactures goods, a producer produces things like movies or songs.
A manufacturer is always a producer - but there are producers who are not manufacturers (like farmers, software programmers, musicians, etc).
