What is ups doing with my package?

Did it say delivered? If it did then someone in Illinois has it.

If it says in transit or arrived at sorting facility or center then it's just a layover.

As long as it doesn't say delivered then there's nothing to worry about.

You want also want to email the company and make sure that it's the right tracking number.

I've had a package stollen by a resident in my apt complex. So from my experience here is what you do: First, call ups to discuss the status of the package. 1800pickups I believe. Second, get in touch with the sender to ensure you have the correct tracking info as well as they have the correct address for you. If ups is at fault the sender is responsible for filing the insurance claim. You will then have to wait for the person/company you bought the laptop from to either send another laptop or refund your money.

It wouldn't be signed for by a hub. You need to call UPS.

UPS does not require signatures for transfer stations. I would get in touch with the vendor that you bought the computer from and have them take care of it. If they don't cooperate and you paid with a credit card, call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

I ordered a laptop online about 6 days ago, and I thought I'd have it by now, so I checked the ups tracking number that the website emailed me and it turnes out that my package was "delivered" to illinois, this is wierd because I live in california and It seems to be not updating but it said someone signed for it, I'm sure its just a hub or something that will send it out from there but I'm not sure. Its been 6 days and they managed to put it in illinois for some reason. That being said... Answers? Comments?
