There are many good ways of being successful on Ebay. You can start doing your research by looking at other successful sellers, what products do they have in there inventory? You can look and see there recent sales depending on the privacy settings. What is selling a lot? Then look for wholesale sources of these products. Research what are the cheapest prices you can get them at and then work out the profit margins.
Another good way is to visit your local wholesale shops, take a mobile phone with internet with you. Look at all the different products and see how much they are going for on ebay while you are there. Then you can see if there will be descent profit margins. Anything with a descent profit margin you can buy a few don't over do it. Buy a few items of a selection of products with good profit margins, list those on ebay and see which ones sell the best then re invest in the best sellers. Rinse and repeat. It takes time to become an established ebay seller but can be done with hard work and patience.
Go to a local thrift shop and buy stuff in bulk to get a discount, then sell it online
Look at what people are selling. Small high value stuff is best.
Alot of people buy dresses that are nice and cheap off eBay, and high heels.
