I sell stuff pretty much every day on both Craig's List and eBay. Price it right and post it with a couple of good pictures. Works for me.
UpgradeSwap.com is a good site. They pay you the same day you list your phone.
I use Gazelle.com
They have the easiest process, and offer great prices for old phones.

Don't use eBay. They will take extra fees for no reason and PayPal will too.
You will get your money quickly and efficiently with Gazelle.
ebay or craigs list say its a apple and put a apple logo on it and some dummy with more money than common sense will buy it for 3 times the prices it's worth.
