Have you ever been somewhere and seen a McDonalds wrapper, or a Wendey's drink or some sort of product lying around, and now in your subconscious mind you kinda feel like having McDonalds now?
Well, thats the same thing with any essential product. It makes you kind of wanna get up and go and buy it, to them though, that means they can ship out 200 more boxes, and know by tomorrow they will need to send out 200 more.
There are multiple brands that sell toilet paper. In order to build and their brand and compete with their competitors they much advertise.
There's a lot of things that are musts that are still advertised. Gas, Food, Cars.
if there werent ads for tp, how would companies let customers know their brand of tp is better than others?
Yes you would buy tp, but would you buy their tp? Same reason for all marketing.
Who wouldn't buy toilet paper... like, seriously.. this is not a joke question.. I'm dead serious! Whats the point in advertising for toilet paper!
