I like the vacuum one better, because it's more recognizable as an object, and it's easier to tell what object it is.
The only thing I don't think you need to be doing is have those cut corners at the outer top corners of the two Ls. Try keeping them clean.
Also, have you tried one where the vacuum is turned 90 degrees? That would lose the symmetry but it might make the vacuum even more obvious.
My Honest Opinion:
Well, I forgot to read your squeegee description. When I saw the logo I didn't know what I was looking at.
The vacuum picture was cut off, just like the squeegee. The squeegee looked like a supporting beam for a construction company or something.
I say outline the vacuum graphic in faint, thin gray or black so I can tell it is a vacuum without having to stare at it a long time. The squeegee didn't say anything to me.
Neither.
The vacuum only looks like a vacuum because you told it was. To me it looked more like a male legs in a pair of khakis or something.
The squeegee does not look like a squeegee. It looks like a telephone/electricity pole.
ok
I'm about to launch a cleaning company, and can't decide on either logo I've created. I want a simple, elegant, and clean design. Each has a negative space element, but I can't choose the best one. Can you help me? :)
I like the vacuum one for its simplicity and use of only the letters, but I like the straight edges of the squeegee one. Hmm, which is the best?
