A Q&A site has got to be tough to get started, there are a lot more possibilities starting a forum, which allows a more collaborative thread on a subject than Yahoo Answers. There are free forum site scripts out there like the popular phpBB
since it is a question answer site, It is not necessary that the domain name must contain the word " question " or " answer " Try something innovative.
For example "Yahoo", " Facebook" ,"Orkut" ,"Google" ",Fixya" are catchy domain names which can be remembered anytime.
Try something like that. You can register domain names at low cost from http://www.zippozap.com/ with 24/7 customer support.
AnswerNow would be better than TheAnswers in my view.
Maybe go with one of the ones below, they are available at the moment:
uanswer.co
uanswer.net
youanswer.co
uquestion.net
uquestion.co
youquestion.net
youquestion.co
questioned.co
uask.co
youask.co
youasked.co
There's a few variations to think about.
Just a random thing. If I were to create a domain name for a question-answer business like the "yahoo answers" what should I pick.
There is "TheAnswers", "AnswerNow", or something else that's catchy.
