Why did the iPhone 5 sell at all?

People bought it because it has the name Apple on it. My 2 year old dual core motorola atrix 4g outperforms the I5 in almost every category... Still.... But peoplebuy it because it has the name Apple on it. I am probably one of the few people in the world that has never owned a product made by apple. I refuse to buy their stuff. While well made, their products are overpriced and technically subpar to almost any of their competitors. You pay for a brand name.... Thats it. Apple blows.

I am currently answering this question on an iPhone 5: I upgraded from an iPhone 3G so there was a jump. It is the faster gd loading camera out. I have 64 gigs of data to store which will be a trouble filling, I spend 6-12 hours a day on my phone texting gaming searching the web. It is used to record my personal life, acts as my diary and pretty much my everyday object. I also use it to check emails which is constantly helpful. The upgrade didn't cost anything obviously because it was an upgrade so I would well recommend it.

I love my iPhone 5. I tried a Samsung Galaxy once and not only did it crash all the time, the battery had to be recharged every day and sometimes wouldn't even last a day. I love my Macbook Air because it lasts a long time without a recharge and boots up from completely off in no time. So I like Apple devices. Sometimes design is about compromise. I'd rather have long battery life than a processor that is mostly doing no-ops.

Typical stat watcher. Iphones are designed to use far less power, thats why they are so much lighter, yet is as powerfull as phones that are bigger and heavier. Just like the battery, smaller and lighter yet just as powerfull as bigger batteries in ohter phones. If you want to go buy specs, then just attach your phone to a car battery, and carry that around under your arm.

Because people just want to be the 'coolest' with the newest gadgets so that they can show off.

It's a great item.

idk

It is the only flagship phone I have ever seen to NOT have a quadcore CPU and start at £500+ so I don't see why peope bought it. The phone is very limiting to what you can do on it starting with being stuck with the storage you get with it, no expandable and things like bluetooth only work with other Apple devices.
