It seems ebay has an unbelievable time reigning in its corps of rogue sellers. There are so many things that are just wrong, the idea that ebay is a safe trading venue is laughable. There is no end to the tricks that unscrupulous sellers play. This is not to say that all ebay sellers are bad. There are some very professional and honest sellers. Unfortunately ebay's program to hold sellers to a standard seems to be more about ebay profit than protecting it's buying customers.
Many ebay users are aware that the feedback system doesn't tell the story of issues that arise involving ebay transactions. In fact, if a buyer doesn't leave feedback the way ebay wants it left (you have to figure that out on your own), ebay will attempt to punish you. Why? Probably because the few who remain might not stay if the truths were known about how bad it is for customers. It would not be in ebay's best interest for you to see the real statistics related to issues.
Because People buy, sometimes
And it is free for them to do so, if Ebay stops it, this trend will be taken over by some other prominent website
People sell dumb stuff, because people buy dumb stuff on ebay.
It's called making money
Why do people sell trash on ebay like the 5 page manuals that you get that come with the video game you buy? Then they sell them for like 7 - 12 bucks for 5 pieces of paper that don't tell you much. Any idiot with a pc can just google the manual and there it is. So, can someone please clarify the method of their madness? I grow tired of flipping through countless pages of pointless trash like that.
