Why don't the UK do free refills?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
I'm in the USA for my holiday and I've noticed that everywhere you go it's free refills everywhere. Including McDonalds. Why don't the UK do this? Thanks!

Lots of places do!

Because restaurant owners are very greedy in the UK and don't like to lose money by giving free refills. That is why our portions here are a lot smaller than in the US.

IKEA does, so do lots of other restaurant chains

Most of us though are quite happy with one cup of coffee /drink and are generally not as greedy

as Americans

Britain doesn't do gluttony like the USA does it. No one does gluttony like the USA.

MONEY,the answer

they do
