If your browser is getting there OK, Google should have no problem indexing a page.
Thanks Mitchel. Will keep the urls as they are. But kindly guide weather it makes any difference with Google results, in case we do not use html. Secondly kindly check the below url, Google shows "archives" instead of results, is it ok ?

Rajat,
Please read this first before you add .html behind your permalink URL. Your site is currently indexed in Google, there are around 240 pages which are indexed. This means, if you add .html in the permalink, you need to redirect those 240 pages to the new pages that have .html otherwise, there will be tons of errors in your websites, and this is definitely harming your website's Search Engine ranking. Although it will be recovered, but it will need months. The quiestion, will you be ready for this?
If yes, and you still want to add .html in the URL, then backup the whole website FIRST.
Then after backup, you can go to your dashboard, settings, permalinks, and add .html in the custom structure text box. (see picture).
Hope this helps.

Hello Friends,
Upon searching for the results in Google, all the pages of my website appear without .html at the end of the link. For example the below mentioned link of my website appears as :
http://www.evertoninc.co.uk/portfolio-item/apple-iphone-5-screen-guard-anti-shock-glass/
As you can see that after anti shock glass, there is no .html. Therefore kindly guide weather is it necessary to put the .html at the end of page, and in case yes then how can i do it ?
