No, though I would wonder why they would be interested in advertising on my blog when they could advertise more effectively elsewhere. I would also wonder who makes from this arrangement and why anyone would be offering me something free if it has any value. It smells too much like the fraudulent 'Banner Ads' pyramid selling schemes that are going on. Behind every scheme is a schemer.

If you are looking at this with the idea of selling advertising, I think you are looking at it from the wrong way, firstly if someone has signed up for Wordpress for free as a blogger, then they have to accept the advertising, that is given.

If someone has bought their own domain (like me) then when I have accrued enough visits, I may well look to signing up for Google adsense, but they tailor the advertising to the type of site. Most sites wanting ads just put a panel on their site saying advertise here for x amount, and if they are getting the hits the advertising follows.
